It is now becoming easier than ever to own your own home.
After years of soaring house prices and a generation of millenials whom it seemed would never be able to afford to fly the nest, Amazon could hold the answer.
The delivery service has really stepped up their game in recent years, from drone deliveries to a successful media empire, and now they have branched out into real estate.
Amazon now stock the increasingly popular ‘tiny-homes’ which can be delivered to you for just $40,000 – delivery times may apply.
Tiny homes are sprouting up all over the place as a fast, easy and cheaper solution to putting down a huge mortgage on some bricks and mortar, which is often out of the everyday persons’ price range.
The homes are not only accessible, they boast a cool design.
Made from trendy shipping containers they have everything you need from a starter home including space saving folding french doors.
At just 320 square feet, these homes have little impact on the environment, especially as they can come fitted with solar panels – meaning the running costs will be kept to a minimum.
MODS International are the company behind these tiny homes which are built to International Building Code meaning they are ready and waiting to be installed in any place of your choosing (Extra earthquake regulations apply in California).
A company spokesperson spoke of how their team are dedicated to the speedy way in which the homes are installed, saying:
“Our truck drivers are certified to make the final connections and have all the tools, connection parts and knowledge.
They work faster when they know the reward is a diet coke and a nice local burger with fries!!
We have the best guys in the industry being very proud and happy to make your connections, turn on the water and walk you thru the unit to make sure everything is perfect and teach you how to operate all the controls … It takes about an hour for all connections, very fast.”
As we all feel the squeeze in our pockets from the increasing prices of modern life, perhaps these tiny homes will be a much needed injection for those hoping to get their feet on the property ladder.
