The dangers of having LED lights in the home.
LED lighting is the most modern and popular form of lighting in homes today, but it has some major flaws that have not been revealed to the public, until now.
Leading photobiologist Alexander Wunsch has identified a massive problem with LED lights and is trying to spread the message across the world – he believes that LED lights are making us blind.
LED’s were brought in as an energy saving measure, they use around 95% less electricity than incandescent bulbs, but we are paying the price for this in other ways.
Wunsch, a lecturer at Wismar University in Germany says that the specific type of blue light emitted by LED’s is not only damaging to our retinas, it is highly disruptive to our endocrine systems and is doing untold physical and mental damage to all who use them.
Natural light is produced by emitting colors from all the different frequencies of the rainbow – every color is represented and the eye is naturally programmed to receieve light in this way.
The light that is emitted from LED’s is a special type of ‘isolated’ blue light, with a diode and phosphor (fluorescent) coating. It is a short-wave ‘aggressive’ type of light which helps keep us awake.
Screens from mobile phones emit this type of light and have been linked with creating a generation of people with sleep disorders.
As you can see below, red light is absent in traditional fluorescent and LED lights:
Despite LED companies denying Wunsch’s claims, even the Harvard Medical School say that these claims are “backed up by study after study.”
The light coming from LED’s is one of the biggest sources of non-native electromagnetic radiation that we encounter on a daily basis, and creates a whole lot of health problems, including “several types of cancer (including breast and prostate), diabetes, heart disease, and obesity”
Natural light gives off all the colors (wavelengths) of the rainbow in a somewhat continuous manner, Wunsch explains in an interview with Dr. Mercola:
