The U.S must have too much time on their hands.
You normally associate sky-writing with romantic messages and gestures, but the U.S Navy have found a new use for this novel way of communication.
In a display of just how much time the U.S Navy pilots must have to play around with, one of them went to the pains of figuring the right co-ordinates to fly to to create a huge penis in the sky.
In a month where aggressive male sexuality has gotten a lot of men into trouble, this prank seems ill-timed and has drawn some criticisms from those on the ground who saw it.
King5 reported how one Oklahoma mother who spotted the drawing took pictures in order to report the incident, and said that she was worried that her children might spot it, leaving her with the awkward conversation of trying to explain what it was.

The Hill reported: “U.S. Navy officials have issued a statement acknowledging that one of its aircraft was used in the drawing of male genitalia in the sky over a county in Washington state.
Officials at the Naval Air Station Whidbey Island in northwest Washington told KREM 2 that one of their aircraft was used in the skywriting.
“The Navy holds its aircrew to the highest standards and we find this absolutely unacceptable, of zero training value and we are holding the crew accountable,” the officials said in a statement.”
The penis drawing was celebrated by some who saw it as a simple jape, much welcomed in a world which at times can seem overwhelmingly serious and depressing.
Some have expressed their outrage at the obvious lack of care over Pentagon spending, which has been estimated at $640 billion in 2018. The U.S military keep on training their troops with taxpayer’s money, only for it to spent in this frivolous way.
