The confessions of a human sex trafficker.
A Libyan sex trafficker has admitted killing over 400 children he couldn’t sell, and ruining the lives of thousands more.
The anonymous criminal was interviewed by U.K documentary maker Ross Kemp for a series on gang crime.
He admits to killing between 400-500 children – he can’t remember the exact number, and selling 2,000 more into sex slavery as they try to flee the civil unrest in the Middle East.
He says he makes an average of £25,000 per week, while the rest of the country struggles by on an average £400 a month.
“I have trafficked three or four thousand young girls, maybe more. We go to poor communities, often Muslim or tribal, and look for real beauties. The girls are auctioned, and go up to the highest bidder. A million taka (£8500 pounds) was the most I got.
“I’ve sold girls [for sex] who are 12. I have never returned any of the children for any reason. If they try to run away, or if there’s any trouble selling them, they are killed and buried. If our bribed police can’t handle it, it goes to the CID, and then we kill the girls. We don’t count [how many we killed; about four or five hundred.”
Hard hitting journalist Kemp is reduced to tears while listening to the mans confession, whether they are tears for the victims or tears for the entire situation that has led this man to end up committing such deeds we will never know.
Recently it was exposed that in Libya right now, there is slavery being carried out. Video footage gained by CNN shows men in chains being auctioned off to the highest bidder, they are marketed like cattle.
Ross Kemp told the Mirror:
“Interviewing a guy who admits to killing 400 to 500 kids but doesn’t know exactly how many – that did make me cry. Unfortunately we have to rely on agencies and NGOs like Flourish to pick up the pieces. I’ve had to look into the eyes of human traffickers. One guy in Romania referred to the girls he abused and used as footballs.”
